How it works

From the first file to a decision with its source.

APTAKE doesn’t replace AI. It keeps everything the AI works with in one project—and what you decided after the answer.

Three steps

Three steps, and the whole matter is in one place.

01

Create a project

Add files, photos, notes and earlier conversations. Everything about one matter stays together—not across three apps and a folder of screenshots.

02

Ask the AI you chose

Connect your own OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Mistral or Perplexity key—or a local model through Ollama or LM Studio. Before you send, check exactly what the AI will receive.

03

Save the decision

Choose the wording you agreed on and save it as a decision—with its date, status and source message. Tomorrow, tap Continue and pick up where you stopped.

Context Inspector

Before you send, you see what the AI will receive.

Under the message box is a short line: your message, which files, which notes. Open the Context Inspector to see the full list—including what is not sent.

New notes and files start as Private until you allow the AI to use them. You can take that permission back.

After a request is sent, the selected provider’s own policy applies.

One project from start to finish

Choosing a supplier for a wing bracket.

The same path works for a court case, a technical test or a protocol update in a hospital unit.

1

One matter, one project

The “Wing bracket” project holds two quotes, a material specification, an inspection certificate and every conversation about them.

2

Private items stay out

The internal spending limit is marked Private. The AI receives the quotes and the certificate, but not the limit.

3

Two AIs in one chat

Claude compares the quotes. You switch to OpenAI in the same chat and ask: “What was missed?”

4

The decision, in exact words

“Approve supplier B for the prototype batch once the shipping cost is confirmed.” Accepted, Oct 12.

5

Continue from the same place

The next morning, Continue brings back the unfinished task: “Confirm the shipping cost for the inspection.”

6

A month later: why B?

In My Decisions, search for “supplier B” and open the source message. If the decision changed, both versions are visible: the current one and the one marked Older version.

Use cases

Work where the source of a decision matters.

AI compares, summarizes and checks arguments. You make the decision—and save it together with its source.

Court case

Lawyer

Case materials, evidence and working notes → AI organizes the open questions → the lawyer makes the decision and records it with a link to the document.

Client correspondence is marked Private.

Technical test

Test engineer

Requirements, test log and failure report → two AIs check the edge cases → the engineer decides to repeat the thermal test after calibration.

Medicine

Hospital nurse

A new clinical guideline and the current protocol → AI shows the differences → the nurse agrees the change with the physician and saves the decision with a link to the document.

Development with Cursor

Developer

Architecture decisions, requirements and notes → you pick what’s needed and hand it to Cursor as Markdown → after the work, you bring the summary back into the project as a source.

Manual transfer: there is no automatic connection to Cursor yet.

APTAKE organizes your work and sources. It does not diagnose, prescribe treatment or give legal advice.
